—Bryan Douglas Battin, 45, of Austin. Convicted of two counts fifth-degree drug possession. Sentenced to 15 months in prison stayed for 10 years supervised probation. Dismissed charges: Third-degree narcotic sales and storing methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child or vulnerable adult. Offense dates: Feb. 27 and April 6.
—Nyalani Biel Jal, 20, of Faribault. Convicted of giving a peace officer a false name and minor consumption. Sentenced to 364 days in jail, 323 of which is stayed for two years supervised probation. Must complete 40 hours community work service. Dismissed charge: Fourth-degree assault of a peace officer. Offense date: July 24, 2011.
—Nicole Marie Marlin, 29, of Albert Lea. Convicted of DWI and theft. Sentenced to 180 days in jail stayed for two years supervised probation and 30 days electronic home monitoring. Fined $685. Dismissed charge: DWI. Offense date: April 2, 2011.
—Conrad Walter Petersen, 64, of Lyle. Convicted of fifth-degree drug manufacturing. Sentenced to five years supervised probation and 40 hours community work service. Fined $85. Dismissed charges: Fifth-degree drug possession and marijuana taxation sale with no affixed stamps. Offense date: March 14, 2011.
—Juan Ortiz Ramirez, 38, of Brownsdale. Convicted of aggravated forgery. Sentenced to one year and one day in prison, stayed for five years supervised probation. Dismissed charges: Three counts of aggravated forgery. Offense date: Jan. 6, 2010.
—Robert John Buchanan, 57, of Austin. Convicted of stalking and violating an order for protection. Sentenced to 365 days in jail, two years supervised probation and 40 hours community work service. Fined $85. Dismissed charge: Violating an order for protection. Offense dates: April 29-30, 2011.
—Dustin David Hanson, 35, of Northfield. Convicted of driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety. Sentenced to 180 days in jail, 116 of which are stayed for one year unsupervised probation. Fined $395. Dismissed charges: Driving without proof of insurance, speeding (77 mph in a 55 mph zone) and driving without a seatbelt. Offense date: April 3, 2011.
—Dyllon David Jorgenson, 19, of Faribault. Convicted of two counts third-degree burglary. Sentenced to five years supervised probation and 40 hours community work service. Fined $85. Dismissed charges: Second-degree burglary and theft. Offense dates: March 1, 2011, and May 15, 2011.
